WHAT WE DO
Practical support for learning, work and everyday life
URP works alongside refugees and migrants with practical, person-centred support across education and skills, employment, and digital and community navigation. We start with what matters to you and help connect the support, information and opportunities you need.

Education & Skills
Guidance with college and university pathways, course searches and applications, skills development, digital learning and referrals to suitable training.
Employment Support
One-to-one help with CVs, job search, applications, interview preparation, career planning and connections with employers and opportunities.
Digital & Community Support
Practical help with email and online accounts, forms, appointments, school communication, job-search tools and connecting with trusted local services.
How support works
Support is practical, respectful and shaped around your goals. You do not need to know the right service before contacting us.
1. Tell us what you need
Tell us what you are trying to achieve or what is getting in the way.
2. We listen and understand
We listen to your situation, priorities, strengths and choices.
3. Agree the next step
Together we identify practical support, information, referrals or opportunities.
4. Keep moving forward
We help you build confidence, skills and connections for the next step.
Family & school navigation
Help with school communication, education systems and practical steps that can otherwise become barriers for families.
Opportunity signposting
We help identify relevant courses, training, employment opportunities and other support, and refer on where specialist help is needed.
Connected support
We work with community organisations, education providers, employers and services so people are not left to navigate support alone.
Not sure where to start?
You do not need to know which service fits. Tell us what you are trying to achieve or what is getting in the way, and we will help identify a practical next step.
